Keep Customers Interested With Interactive Advertising
In today's high-tech world there are all kinds of different marketing techniques. One of the most interesting and innovative types is interactive advertising. As the name suggests, this type of advertising gets the customer involved in the ad. There are a variety of ways to do this, with the most common being via online advertising. The Internet allows marketers to create dynamic campaigns that are enticing to potential buyers because it gives them a way to participate in something rather than just viewing an advertisement.
A good example would be a banner ad that asks the customer to vote in a poll. This might be something related to celebrities. An example would be 'Who is Prettier -- Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie? Vote Now!' The visitor would click their preference and be taken to the landing page, which is exactly where the marketer wants them to go. There are also games on banner ads, like clicking a moving target. You also might see things like, 'Which Do You Prefer, Coke or Pepsi?' These are just examples of interactive ads that entice clicking.
If you want to create an interactive ad, you will need knowledge of computer programming. It is more than simple HTML and if you are not a programming professional you will need to hire someone skilled in creating dynamic, interactive banner ads. There are sites for freelancers where coders and designers advertise their services, and where you can place an ad for the job you need done. The freelancers would then bid on the project and you would select your favorite from the applicants. When placing an ad for a freelancer, make sure you specify the project details clearly, the qualifications necessary and how much you are willing to pay. This keeps the field narrowed down and helps prevent unqualified applicants from bidding.
Once you have the advertisement created to your satisfaction, the next step is to place it online where it is likely to get the most traffic. Blogs are a good choice for some advertisers especially if the ad content matches the blog content. There are also countless websites that sell ad space. If you are just not sure where your interactive advertising should go, consider hiring an online ad agency who can analyze your ad, your target market, and recommend the best placement. The combination of a creative interactive ad and good placement can lead to winning results.
